Vin de France, Richard Leroy “Les Rouliers” 2015
Regular price
$250.00
This October, we’re collaborating with Brian McClintic to offer an incredible collection of rare wines for sale.
The wine world first got to know Brian as one of the stars of SOMM, the 2012 documentary that followed Brian and three other sommeliers in their pursuit of the Master Sommelier title. But earning his MS was really only the beginning of Brian’s story in wine.
In the years that followed, he founded Viticole, traveling the world in search of remarkable growers, vineyards, and places. What began as a wine club evolved into something far more personal: a collection of collaborations with farmers and winemakers who shared Brian’s increasingly singular vision of farming, wine, and the natural world.
Eventually, life asked him to spend less time on the road. With his parents’ health declining, Brian stepped away from Viticole to be closer to his family.
Now, he’s ready to close his chapter in wine.
On Saturday, Oct. 10, Brian will be selling his remaining Viticole stash and personal collection—library wines, rare bottles, and the last remnants of a project that occupied nearly a decade of his life. This is an extraordinary opportunity to acquire the last wines from Viticole, while helping the wine community show up for one of its own: proceeds from the sale will help defray the significant medical expenses associated with his mother’s care.
After a last glass together, Brian is putting his career in wine behind him and heading to Scotland to record his first album as a musician.
Help him lighten his load, close one chapter, and begin another.
Must be 21 years old to purchase. ID is required at delivery or in-store pickup.
