Mourvèdre, Syrah and Grenache from Saint Chinian, where continental France meets the Mediterranean. The town lies at the southern end of the Massif Central, yet is only 20 miles from the sea, and the summers are warm and long and the winters mild. Historically known mostly for carbonically macerated Carignan.
