2.2.26 Penna-Currado Tasting with Elena Penna
Regular price
$75.00
Cascina Penna-Currado is the new personal venture of the Penna-Currado Vietti family, spearheaded by Elena Penna, Luca Currado Vietti, and their two kids.
Luca and Elena spent roughly 35 years at the helm of one of Piedmont’s most lauded wineries, Vietti, until both decided to part ways in January of 2023. Their new venture is of entirely different artisanal scale and they look forward to bringing it forth as a family endeavor while continuing to adhere to excellence and their sound roots and experience in the Langhe.
The winery calls home a renovated cascina in Serralunga d’Alba that dates back to 1554, and the vineyards span the cooler reaches of Langhe and Derthona.
Join us on February 2 to meet Elena, one of Piemonte's greatest ambassadors, and taste some of the first wines from the new Penna-Currado estate!
Elena is pouring five wines:
Timorasso "Derthona" 2024
Dolcetto D'Alba "Bricco Lago" 2023
Barbera D'Alba "Carra" 2023
Langhe Nebbiolo "Bricco Lago" 2023
