There aren’t too many wines around that would be considered young at a decade of age- Oakville Cabernet, select classed-growth Bordeaux, and uber-traditional Barolo are among those few. Add Salvatore Molettieri’s Taurasi to that list. It drinks way fresher than it should given its age, alcohol content, and anthocyanin-heavy grape Aglianico. With uncompromising length and a mountain ruggedness, this is the perfect accompaniment for pork ragú.
