J-j-j-j-juicy! Like Nebbiolo, its fellow native Piedmont variety Grignolino is deceivingly light in color given the structure it has. La Miraja’s looks like cranberry juice in its translucence. It jumps out of the glass like Kool-Aid, albeit with crunchy acid, an herbal demeanor, and a firm wave of tannin. Serve with a slight chill.
