The last vintage overseen by the legendary Marc Ollivier! Marc now spends most of his time fishing and eating seafood (presumably with a magnum of Muscadet).
Clisson is the southernmost of the 10 crus of Muscadet. The granitic soils are topped with sand and lead to quick ripening and broader wines than you might be used to from Muscadet. Impressive now, this will be spectacular with a few more years of bottle age.
