The 2-hectare Clos des Quarts monopole vineyard was purchased in 2012 by Dominique Lafon and Olivier Merlin, old friends and leading lights in their respective corners of Burgundy. This is one of the top wines of southern Burgundy, from a site atop the crest of the hill of Chaintré.
