In a place with millennia of wine-growing history, it’s funny that as Burgundy’s reputation and prices continue to swell it’s often the outsiders doing the most interesting work. Jérôme Galeyrand is one such producer- originally from the Loire, he worked in the food business before catching the wine bug in Gevrey. Now, that’s home base for his eponymous domaine.
