6.24 World Tour: Loire Valley
The Loire is France's longest river, and its banks and tributaries are home to a wide number of distinctive villages, grapes, and appellations. If you don't know your Sancerre from your Jasnières this class is for you! Master Sommelier Matt Stamp will lead a tasting of eight red and white wines, covering the principal varieties—Chenin Blanc, Cabernet Franc, Melon de Bourgogne, and Sauvignon Blanc—while touring the Loire Valley from the Atlantic Coast to the center of France.
