6.17.19 World Tour: Sicily with David Lynch
Sicily is one of the most exciting, diverse regions in Italy right now! The volcanic slopes of Mount Etna are home to one of Italy's most important red varieties—Did someone say something about Nerello Mascalese being... classic?? On the western side of the island an almost-forgotten fortified wine, Marsala, is still taken seriously by a handful of old masters. In Vittoria lies the region's sole DOCG. And from islands peppered off its coast come luxurious sweet wines. Join David Lynch, sommelier and author of the seminal Vino Italiano, for this world tour stop and eight great Sicilian wines.
6pm-7:30pm, Monday, June 17.
